I ended up over. With the 40 coins for the 3DS eShop connect and then Zelda I ended up around 700. I wish I'd saved some of my other codes for the end instead of using them right away, since the horizon looks pretty low on games from Nintendo.

Sadly, I don't like Mario Kart at all (don't like any racing games). But with a few bonus survey's and *ware and VC I suppose I can probably make it.
 

i joined Club Nintendo late last year, so this is my first year and i did hit platinum status with some games i already had, i'm at 610 right now - saving a couple of games for next year

i hope the prize is good, i like the looks of that mario statue, wish i had one

Hah, I used to attempt to get points...but I've been locked out of my Club Nintendo account and unable to reset the password for a while now (I guess I forgot my log in...? but my Wii is connected to my account) and just never tried since. I've heard that Nintendo phone support services are pretty good to deal with, but I just never got around to it.

Easiest company to deal with. Given microsoft wasn't as bad. 

Holy Mario overload Batman. Hat, Figurine (which was awesome) and now badges. Don't get me wrong, I like Mario, but Nintendo needs to have some more non-Mario rewards. I was really hoping for something Zelda related. Even the non platinum rewards are too Mario focused; I really want a 3 poster set for one of the other major franchises (or Metroid, especially Metroid).

So the prize for America is the badge set that Japan got last year?

What's the badges useful for?

I have so many Nintendo products (Wii with games, Six DS's with Games, 3DS with games) that I should sign up. Nothing to lose, right?
