With the recent success of the E3 replica booth in Playstation HOME, showing there is a huge demand for a virtual spaces. Do you think that Sony will implement it as the default interface for their next console?

I can picture everyone having their own "HOME/Apartment" and it acting as like a "server" where you can host games, events, ect using your bandwidth. And every developer would have their own Space which would run on their servers. Even companies like HULU,Netflix,Facebook could have Spaces with new functionality. For example, "Hulu: Home" which allows access to your private Cinema for upto 6friends to enjoy video &/or chat together.

This has HUGE potential to Cross promote all of Sonys products, as they do Consoles, handhelds, phones, tablets, laptops,TVs,cameras all of which could have a purpase in the virtual world. You could even pre-order/buy stuff instores and get them shipped to your physical address(I think GAME.co.uk do this already). Why not just buy from a website you ask? Because pages don't do products justice -fact, but a 3D animation which you can play with, does.

I hope my grammer isn't to painful -.-!

Lemme know what you all think..

Around the Network

well it would have to be an optional thing but its sounds pretty sweet, thats were it would most likely evolve to.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

In my opinion, home is VERY underrated. I still think if MS had created it first, everyone would have embraced it as the best thing since sex.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I agree with home being underrated, I think its more for the casuals atm, not alot of hard-core stuff. But it definantly looks like Sony are trying combat that with  their new multiplayer spaces. I think if they added PSN trophy rooms and ranking items for high rank people the hard-core would come

somehow I was expecting PSNH to stand for PSNHacking.

anyways never used home, I wanted to give it a try for some time now, but I'm scared of the mega update it may require, so.....
