Well that coulkd very well happen. I dont think Microsoft will only show up some devices and Halo 4 for E3. I wouldnt be surprised if Microsoft anounce the next box on E3. And Halo 4 as a launch title would make more sense than Halo 4 on X Box 360. ( Maybe they have one version for 360 and one for the 720)

I don't believe this to be true since MS already declined. They are a huge company and I am sure they don't want to build a reputation as liars. Plus they have share holders and investors, so they can't go about lying and changing announcements like this.
