Carlos, if millions think the console is better than it does not necessarily mean that it does not fail in some places. Personally, I don't like the Wii, mainly because I don't like the motion sensor, and was not impressed at all when I played. I'd seen better graphics on my PS2, and it just felt like a step backwards from my PS3.
Anyway, just because more people bought a Wii, does not mean they all think it is better, they could just be buying it now and waiting for the PS3 price to come down.

 I.m.h.o New-gen is better then 'Better Graphics and same gameplay' which people like you would define with 'next-gen' But whatever, everyone can have his own opinion.

Btw... Everyone knew the PS3 wasn't dead... It just didn't meat the expectations everyone had expected (Hint: Look at PS1 and PS2 total sold numbers)...

But hey, it's tracking quite similar to the PSP a.t.m which is a healthy system! 

 because there is nothing for the Wii I want to play. (enough to make me buy the system)

I beat Zelda for the GC, I beat Resident Evil for GC. I'm not a huge platformer and haven't beaten a Mario since Super Mario world for the Snes.  I've never been into Metroid.

 The Wii games I'm intersted in haven't been released yet. Like Brawl, ToS, Baiten Kaitos and SoA2

You dont know $hit about the ps3, ask ONNA about the playstation eye and compare that to the wii mote, the ps eye is TRUE TECHNOLOGY not the controller with motion controls, the ps3 has that too.

You dont know $hit about any other console than the wii. People say the PSN is $hit compared to XBL, but hey wii online is worst than ps2..

If you want a really good online experience just play on the PC. Hopefully you are good enough to play with mouse/keyboard.

Approx. 200 million people around the world drive Ford and only 10-20 thousend - Ferrari.
But it doesnt mean anything. Ford is good too. For everyday usage. But Ferrari is better. For obvious reasons.
According to your logic Wii is better cuz people buys it more. I have wii too - as the second console.
Wii is great from one side but it has no future. It is fun for kids or former PC games, but it has nothing for an advanced gamer.

I think your logic is not completely correct. Wii is a good choice for novice player. One day they will have to choose X360 or PS3, when they get tired of hand waving

No I prefer playing on my 720P 32" HD TV with a dual shock 3 with MOTION CONTROLS.

we've heard all these arguments many times before. Don't think what you're saying is new at all. We've already thought about it, discussed it, and come up with our own predictions. The PS3 finishing last is by no means a universal thought on these forums, in fact the most popular theory is Wii-PS3-Xbox360.

However, you're not really bringing anything new to the table here. We all know all these facts. Most people just think that it isn't enough for the PS3. You say 2008 is the year for the PS3. I agree, it's the year that the PS3 will have to really put the effort in if they want to overtake the Xbox360. However, no matter how well they do, the Wii will still outsell it in 2008 by a lot.

The number of people who expect Gamecube numbers out of the PS3 are quite small. It has actually gained a bit of traction. However, trying to judge anything from the recent sales are impossible, they are holiday fueled, and no one knows what's going to happen to the PS3 once January hits. I personally expect N64 sales levels lifetime for the PS3.
