Well Sony wasn't a major software developer till they decided to make PlayStation. I mean they made the odd PC and console game but Sony really started taking games seriously after Nintendo screwed them. Nintendo screwing them made Sony what they are today!

THat and MS tried it on PC's back in 2000 and it failed.
this is a crazy thread, the Sony fans are going to say, "no, Sony makes their own things too" Which is true. NInty fans are gonna say, "yeah, Sony copies,", but it will be like pulling teeth to get them to admit they do improve on some ideas. To be fair, there is a wireless nunchuck not made by Ninty for Wii and the Move nav controller has no motion and the nunchuck does so...
But this is not a "Sony steals ideas" thread, this is a "Sony makes better versions of Nintendo's innovations" thread, and it's mainly from the hardware standpoint.
And the main point is that Sony could release a superb tablet controller totally superior to what Nintendo is offering with the Wii U.
That makes me very happy.
