So to you, higher resolution is copying lol, what's next? Are you gonna tell me higher poly count is also copying? I've noticed you seem to like repeating this same statement a lot, straws anyone? |
I see no reason why I shouldnt keep bringing up one of the many things Nintendo copied in the 400th "Sony copied Nintendo!" thread.

That's a great example.

You seriously think Sony invented higher resilutions for gaming? Do you really want to keep up this argument?

You implied it. You basically stated Nintendo copied HD with their new system. While stating this, you fail to understand that variable resolutions were common even 15 years ago. If you really think Nintendo has "copied" HD, then Sony "copied" the 640x480 resolution for PS2 from N64's Expansion Pack.
Yes, Nintendo fans often exaggerate Nintendo's "inventions" and Sony does innovate more than they get credit for. But don't act ignorant, you're only contributing to the idiocy with these silly claims.

All the basic features the DualShock had were taken from Nintendo-made controllers, in some cases those features were doubled. |
Did I say that the Dualshock design was completely original? ...No.
What I am saying though is that the design hasn't moved on from there, the number of buttons and the button placements hasn't changed or has only changed slightly for most controllers released today, especially 3rd party PC controllers.

No. No I didn't imply it. Stop putting words into my mouth. I never once implied Sony invented high definition. The key words in my post were "and not following the crowd". I never once mentioned a specific company.
As for Sony copying the 640x480... I don't care. If I cared, I would have put it in my post. My post though, had nothing to do with Sony copying stuff. As you can see in there, I was aiming it at the holy Nintendo.
These threads are getting annoying. A bunch of Nintendo fans seem to think there must be a thread every 6 Months explaining how Nintendo innovate all the time, never copy anything, and Sony are the evil copiers who never do anything new. Thankfully, I wasn't the only person here who decided to shit on the thread. Nintendo have copied a lot more than people, for some reason, like to admit.
