Have you ever played WoW? Are you currently playing WoW? What's up with you and WoW?

I used to play WoW since classic but I quit several months ago. It got too boring and started seeming like a rip off for the amount of content they were bringing out.

I played it for a month or two several years ago. Was fun for a while, especially BGs, but ultimately it made me conclude that MMOs are just not my bag.

I used to play it quite a bit. Played mostly raids during vanilla, but had played PvP almost exclusively since. I'd stopped playing several times along the line and really have no interest in getting back in now.

My wife and I played it together for 2 years. After bringing up several characters on both sides there was nothing left to do then repeat the same raids over and over again. That just felt too much like work.
It was a lot of fun, but we have no intention of going back. Once you stop the itch fades quickly.

I got to level 50 or something like that and I quit, my brother still plays and apparently he is good, but I got bored

I have not, and I never plan too. Not into MMOs.

Hells ya. PvP is where it's at.

I've played off and on for the past 6 or so years.  Not playing at the moment, Cataclysm never really managed to keep my attention, just got to 85 in a couple days and stopped playing again.  I've thought about resubscribing.  Actually the biggest barrier is I just don't have enough HDD space at the moment, and I don't feel like deleting anything or buying a new one.  Which I guess shows how much I actually feel like playing.  I think if I had a better guild to go back to it would be different.

With that said, WoW is easily one of my favorite games of all time.
