Yikes. What happen to the thread!?

Thanks again for the suggestions everyone. Guess I might have to count out Xbox 360 games or at least the versions. Mainly since if the game has online I won't be able to take advantage of it due to not paying for Xbox Live Gold. If it has it I'll want to take advantage of it. Then again they might not be active. Didn't consider that before.

Red Faction Guerrilla is one of the games I plan on picking up. Just looks interesting and I did play the original back on the PS2. Red Faction Armageddon looks interesting as well but I don't think it's worth the new full price at the moment. Having a hard time picking a second game though as I need another to get Amazon free shipping if the price is right. I do have Mass Effect 1 (had it when it first came out) and I do have ME2. Saw it for $10 new on Amazon.com several months but never bothered opening it. Was more of an impulse buy and something to pad my order. Guess I finally should but wanted to fully finish up ME1 but I've become bored with it.

I guess just the one now is good enough.

I depends on what you would call a TPS.

With most of the games being recommended here I wouldn't immidiately think of them as being a TPS

Uncharted (action-adverture) Dead Space (survival horror) Mass Effect (RPG) Red Dead Redemption (sandbox), Infamous (sandbox/platformer) Resident Evil (survival horror) Splinter Cell (tactical espionage) Metal Gear Solid (tactical espionage)

That pretty much leave Gears of War and Vanquish, maybe Red Faction
