anyone else have lots of trouble with their wifi connectivity on wii? the last place i lived my wii pretty much did not connect at all to the internet but in my current place it works better but still not well enough to get me through a full game of mario strikers or medal of honor. and about half the time i try to connect it doesn't work. is this just my wii or do wii's in gerenal have really really bad connections? its the dumbest thing ever that nintendo only made wii wi-fi capable and you have to actually pay more to get a wired adapter. but i think the adapter is the only way to go for me. that should make it so my wii has perfectly fine connectivity right? my computer works perfect with our wireless internet, just my wii sucks..

How far away from your router is your Wii?

This always happens to me, it's always cutting out, and half the time never connects at all, drives me f'n mad.

I use to use the USB dongle thing for the Wii to connect to the internet. It always gave me problems. Now I just use the built in wi-fi and I don't have any problems. My sister uses a wired connection for her Wii and has no issues at all but you have to order that from Nintendo I think. For some reason she can't access the Wii shop with the wired connection.

if my ps3's wi-fi works then my wii's wi-fi works! they both work better than my computer's online! (which is strange considering that pc's are supposed to be the all powerful tech beasts of our world or something like that.)

My Wii is literally 2 feet from my router, and any time my girlfriend uses our cordless house phone, the damned Wi-Fi cuts out. I guess I'm gonna have to buy a wired adapter. My laptop, 360, DS, and PC have no problems at all.

in my old place my wii was about 3 feet away from the router and it never worked. now its like 15 feet away and works only sometimes. when i try to play online if it even lets me connect it works for no more than about 5-7 minutes before disconnecting.

what is Channel 11?

My Wii is on a separate story than my router with many walls and electronics in the way and haven't had a problem with it.

My Wii works fine... better then my PC and Laptop...
