Seems to be very slim (and quite longer then the Wii). Anyone  got a comparison between them ? Or PS360 ?

If we know the dimensions etc we can make a direct size comparison, wikipedia has accurate info on PS360 slim and phat models.

System has better visual appeal to me than the Wii.

it's very easy to estimate the dimensions of the system based on the optical drive slot which we know is slightly longer than 12 cm. the Wii's slot is exactly 13 cm length, and the front of the.Wii measures 15.5 cm

LOL or I could just check the specs on Nintendo's site

Size:
Approximately 1.8 inches tall, 6.8 inches wide and 10.5 inches long.

in comparison to old xbox 360 which is:
12.15 in wide x 3.27 in high x 10.15 in deep

or a 360 slim which is:
2.9 inches in height, 10.6 inches in width, 10.4 inches in depth

so, quite smaller than the slim, I'll try to get a picture up.

I like the two usb next to the SD slot, currently have a usb hub behind my Wii for two usb microphones.

Some information given in the video is wrong. The WiiU can't stand, those "legs" are to keep the vents open... and there are plenty of those. It's also wrong about some sockets, here is a more detailed one from the article:

Nothing out of the ordinary.

Looks like another well built device. Plenty of air for the power inside, hdmi, and great locations for the USB ports. Fronts for recharging and backs for HDD and other potential stuff.

I'm happy it is small device, honestly reallly annoyed at my PS3phat and xbox360, because I wanted to put the Sony 3DTV that they are selling for $499 in that part of my room. I might have to pack away one now or put them in area where the airflow might now be greatest. 

Least they added two more USB ports. Looks decent and I don't really care if it stands up. I stood my Wii up in the beginning but after awhile I eventually just laid it down.

So I guess you can add extra space either through SD or USB now? I guess I'll go with whichever is cheaper which should be SDHC.

I don't like the glossy white much.

But otherwise, it's smartly built.

wow MS released a new model and still could not make it smaller than WiiU that will be more powerful :P
