Forums - Gaming Discussion - How much would you pay for a game?

I review games, so I don't have to pay for most games - or I get them at deep discounts. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for a game I couldn't get. However, I would pay $169.99 plus tax for Rock Band if I didn't have it.

I'd pay about $80AUD, which is about the average price of a new game. New games seem to have always been around $80AUD for as long as I can remember, and it's never bothered me. Though, when I was younger, I'd wait for the $20AUD "platinum" budget versions of games.

Where the hell do you live in Australia?

New games here have always cost $99AUD, until recently some PS360 games @ $109AUD.

And platinum games have always been $30AUD.

I pay full price - £40-£50 ($80-$100), but that's why I only buy games I know I will like. Sadly, this ends up being just Nintendo 'core' games and I never want to risk trying the third-party unknown ones. I should buy those at £20 ($40), I suppose.

Ubuntu. Linux for human beings.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

400-500 SEK at maximum (thats is more or less standard price for DS and Wii). I actualy think 500 SEK is a little bit too much.

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

I'm gonna pay $460-$560 for Metal Gear Solid 4.........and I'm okay with that.

It depends...

Nintendo developed = $60~$75
Nintendo 2nd Party developed = $45~$50
3rd party quality (Valve, Capcom, Namco...) = $50~$60
3rd party cheap crap (UbiSoft, etc.) = $15~$20 preferred used
Electronic Arts-developed = $0.00

£35 sterling! MAX

Unless its something so amazing and incredible.

I got Crisis for £19.99
Orange Box £24.99
SMG £29.99
MP3 £29.97

I find most stuff here is quite cheap in supermarkets! Specialist game shops add a premium of £5 to £15!!

Another reason to not get a PS3/360 with game prices at £39.99 - £49.99 (thats about $99.98 US dollars)

But fazz u have fifa 08 , u spent money on EA software... :O

Why not add me on msn... ish_187@hotmail.co.uk

For the cheapest prices in the UK use http://uk.gamestracker.com

It tracks all the online prices and finds you the cheapest. When games are £39.99 in Game you can often find them half the price through gamestracker.
