Way too lay out iPhone screen specs nicely and just throw Vita specs in a jumbled mix. Yep, you aren't biased. Resolution means very little for gaming. Just means you have to push more pixels from the GPU. Most important is response time and contrast ratio, and OLED wins for both.

And 800:1 contrast ratio? LOL

OLED display is not as good for you as TFT one (which Retina is)? OKAY, keep on buying more overpriced iPhones if it's so good for you, lol

The iphone 4 screen is a 3.5" with 960 x 640 resolution. The PSV screen is 5" with 960 x 544 resolution (less than the iphone 4 resolution). More pixels in a smaller screen size make the Iphone 4 screen sharper. There are also other Android phones out that have the same 960 x 544 resolution in smaller screens (usually 4.3"), which should make them look sharper than the PSV screen. (Atrix, Droid X2, HTC Sensation) Once again more pixels in a smaller screen size.

The Menus could look more sharp with more resolution, but games not....higher resolution requires more power.

960 x 544 is already a great resolution for protable gaming. You know what resolution Alan Wake and Black Ops on PS3 have?

Retina display is 960x640....and the resolution of PSVITA is 960x544. It is almost the same.

I think because they wanted it to be at a comprable price range to the 3DS

I seem to remember articles comparing the Samsung Omnia or the Samsung Galaxy S screens against the i4 and although technically the i4 had an edge it was not always clear cut when using it in everyday situations.

In fact the real benefit I recall would seem to be the higher pixel count giving the i4 the nod when reading text although I am sure this only really works when you make side by side comparisons, I certainly have no difficulty reading text on my Omnia for example.
