Compile Heart Crossover gets a trailer.(doesn't show much, but the music is good) Cming it out this year in Japan.

The direction of NISA and Atlus USA over the past 2 years has made me just so sad.

To be honest, quite a few of the traditional localization houses have been a bit disappointing over the past year or so (I'd throw in XSEED too), but new companies have stepped in to take their place. Aksys are doing incredible stuff; IFI are solid in what they bring across and PQube are just bizarre (but in a good way).
Anyway, speaking of bizarre in a good way, Sony Asia are bringing Touhou Genso Wanderer (and Genso Rondo for PS4) to Asia in 2016, which is earlier than NISA's planned 2017 release date for the former. Does that mean Sony Asia are translating the game themsevles?

I'm just glad we're getting Tohou games localized, never thought I'd see it to be honest.
Btw Kresnik finally got around to reading your article about porting developers on the Vita that you posted a few days ago here. Very nice read, I enjoyed it a lot. It's too bad about Curve, they were one of my favorites early on, but now they barely bring anything over...

You just reminded me that NIS brings anime over. I remember, maybe 3 years ago, there were a lot of HUGE limited edition animes that I've never seen befor, at Anime North (Largest anime convention in Canada). They were these big PC like boxes. I don't see them anymore. I also went to go see what NIS' anime were, they licensed Cardcaptors! I might go and buy it for nostalgia.
I'm worried about Atlus. The work on Tokyo Mirage was sloppy and the censorship was dumbfounding (Though that's probably Nintendo). The overall translation was alright, but the texts in the game were WTF? They just ran the translation through a translator without re-arranging the english. I just hope they don't screw up with Persona 5

XSeed has made some questionable decisions in their localization choices and has clogged up their release lineup with waaaaay too many ports of old games. The ones they do bring usually check all the boxes.
So today's big Vita news is: it's been hacked. Apparently properly this time.
No idea what this means for anything, but if a few decent emulators come to it (N64/PS1/PS1 and hopefully Dreamcast) I'd be so down for that.

I just want my PSP games that are UMD based on there (Too lazy for an emulator). I wonder if Sony will care at this point.
