Lol... FPS are important to platformers. Stuttering/low/unstable framerate can lead to unfair deaths.

Lol to you too. Decided to get a Vita yet? :p Most of the Jak collection has an identical frame rate to Super Mario 3D Land.

Didn't like that game.
And 3D Land's framerate doesn't dip into the 20s.

Nor does "Most of the Jak collection" ;) which is why it's incredibly unfair of you to comment on it in the way you did. What brings you into a thread about a system you have no interest in anyway?

Even the PS3 struggles to run the first Jak and Daxter due to the weird coding tricks Naughty Dog implemented to get the most out of the "Emotion Engine".

Vitabros, I've noticed Ar Nosurge's physical releases appear to be drying up very rapidly... There is one on ebay for £60 + shipping + import duty, I'm feeling really tempted to order it. What's the availability like generally in the US? Is it really going to be one that completely dries up?

Someone that said something ridiculous. I never even said a word about that collection game in my first post.

Lost Dimension arrived today. So begins my ridiculously expensive gaming month.

So you somehow read the post without coming into the thread? Magicksz.

You can lock one memord card to one PSN account correct?

I've never gone through the hoops of re-setting up my PSN account.

Yes, but you can also use  the same memory card if you want (back up current data on PC), format-> reset -> login with second account. When you're done, you can switch back to your saved back up on PC. I personally just use 2 memory cards(small 8 giga for my JP account, and 32 for my US account)

Games like Until Dawn are perfect for remote play,I'm playin through it right now in bed and am very much enjoying it ^^

You can still buy it from 3rd party sellers but at a premium of course (usually around $80-$90). Honestly though the game is fantastic and criminally underrated, you should buy it ASAP.

Never looked into the matter actually. I have my JP account on my Vita since day one. The EU Vita PSN has nothing interesting to me, so I don't need it.

Not quite what I was expecting, but I'm far more excited reading that than I was before.

Just finished Steins;Gate (with the true ending)... It's amazing ! O_O
(It made me import 2 "sequels", even in japanese only, I'll practice my japanese with it...)

And someone just explained to me on another site that visual novels are casual games for casual gamers. Did someone lie to me about that ? :D

Visual Novels are a Niche genre.. But casual games, I don't think so... But certainly most of them lack any kind of "gameplay" and the only think leave to the players are some decisions from time on time... VN are haracter and plot focused so are oriented to people whose enjoy reading and hearing a narrated story...

Right now I'm playing Xblaze, where You affect the story and dialogs only based in which news you read on the TOi menu, there's Danganronpa games where depend on your dialogs and choices on them.. then there are the trails, Some like Utawarerumono and other Aquaplus VN have RPG elements, some you make a punctual choice that change the story.. and on others change depending on the time spent with certain characters...

Visual Novels are those old Choose Your Own Adventure books simply put into a more picture oriented medium. Some gameplay is a plus, but is ultimately unnecessary since the focus is the adventure you're crafting. A VN basically falls somewhere between a book and a show.
