Not at all surprised considering I personally haven't seen any advertisements of Kiwami. It sucks because I find the game to be really good.

OT: I think at this point, if you want to buy the physical version of a game you want, you'll need to import the Asian/English version.

Well, I did my part and bought Toukiden Kiwami at retail even though I already owned the original Toukiden. Hopefully they do in fact partner with NISA so I can put off buying a 64gb memory card even longer lol.

Soul Sacrifice was the last retail game I bought on Vita. I'd like to support these developers but I simply prefer having all my game collection on the device. Guess I'm part of the problem.

I don't see it as a problem, is just the natural course.. The problem is that Vita's Memory Cards aren't cheap at all... But other platforms  have the tendency to have more Digital Sells than Physicals on some genres... is a tendency, but some people still like to have their Physical collections.. So I think limited runs of physical game should be wise choice on Niche games like these...

I really don't think bombed is the correct answer. There is a middle ground between "It's didn't do well" and "It was a complete bomb".

It does look like most Vita sales are digital. Some games are getting a physical release for the fans but it's still risky based on how that small market usually makes it's purchases, and it can't help that their playing it safe by limiting the distribution of those games.

Still not great considering their EU store does 1$=1£ for some reason
It'd probably cost me around 85€ with shipping. If EU even gets it

It doesn't surprise me tbh. It's not a genre that really does well on home consoles and Vita owners have the option of the original for barely £10.
