Sooo I decided to import the black and red value pack Vita 2000 from Japan and my God. It's the sexiest thing I've ever seen. If I wasn't afraid I'd crush it I'd tuck it in bed next to me at night. The only down side was when I had to re-arrange over 100 bubbles that got completely scrambled.

But seriously, it's the best looking game system I've ever owned. Plus while the colors on screen don't look as good as the OLED model it seems like it has a sharper image. Looks like my 3DS will remain a glorified coaster.

Don't make cr over all those nice and awesome colors and special editions that I never had.. because SCEA is just too much stupid -.-

Enjoy. I'm really curious to see what your thoughts are of the Vita once you're more accustomed to the game catalogue it offers. Maybe us "life long" Vita owners are a lot more emotionally invested in the catalogue. So an outside perspective will be cool.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

So I bought the Physical version of Child of Light on PS Vita because you know buying the same game 3 times is the in thing to do :p. Yeah so I bought on PS4 CoL release, then on PS Vita CoL release and today PS Vita Physical. So far I got $19 physical Vita games. I'm thinking about grabbing Hatsune Miku PDf2. Buying these Physical games is saving me so much memory on my Vita. Having a full 64GB sucks. Atleast I got a free GB now lol

I also ment to say, for some reason I feel like the physical version runs better than the DL, because I use to feel like the Vita version had frame studders but now it seems perfectly smooth, kinda like the difference on CoL PS4 before and after the update.

Have been playing Helldivers a bit and I'm enjoying it a lot. Missed a shooter like this on Vita. I'm happy we're getting such games Good thing Sony is pushing for many of their games being multiplatform! So many good games available on the platform it's crazy it doesn't sell more. I hope there still is more to come.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

A lot of crossbuy games feel like they were built with a handheld in mind or at least feel better with my Vita even with graphical compromises. Guess we're a minority though. :/

Congratulations. If you're into 2D platformers get Sound Shapes, it's on sale now. The best community for online levels imo, and they range from classic to semi-metrovania. SoTN also springs to mind. Hotline Miami 2 is also 2D, but it's not a platformer, and I don't recommend it unless you're a masochist.

Cool. What's Sound Shapes like?

A simple yet solid wacky 2D platformer centered around the theme of music. Your goal is to get to the end of the level, but your way there is a musical experience. You collect coins (or whatever) that add musical notes to the background music (collecting things finally has a purpose). It's not that challenging early on, but it's the unique level designs and musical elements that make it fun. However the campaign is a little on the short side, but the online community levels make up for it.

It's cross-buy and one of my favorite 2D platformer. The community levels take inspiration from classic platformers and rival them imo. The download option is a huge plus too. You don't have to listen to me though, I have synesthesia so my audio-visual experience with the game can only be described as Zen like. Come to think of it, I think the person(s) behind it has it or is at least well aware of the phenomenon. It's called "Sound Shapes" for pete's sake.

I can recommend you a few creators if you're interested.

I saw some gameplay of it and it looks like fun. I might try it sometime. Can you tell me some people that make good custom levels?

So just wanted to drop this.
Bandai Namco Europe confirmed One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 with have a Physical Vita version as well as PS3 and PS4. I don't think NA is getting physical at all though
