I don't think people are outraged at the lack of physical copies.  I think Augen nails it - the people who complain are the people who buy physical copies, but they're in a vast minority and so it causes difficulties.  They're doing everything they can; but sadly the majority isn't with them.

It's a shame, but these two IFI games have performed absolutely shockingly in the UK at least.  I know they've committed to physical releases of Neptunia U and Rebirth 3, but I have to imagine that'll be the end of their support after that.

I have witnessed the inverse as well.  XSeed released Senran Kagura Burst on 3DS digital due to concerns series had no audience in the west.  Apparently it did okay as Shinovi Versus got a physical release.  Now, if we continue to get physical release for games such as Estival Versus (I don't count Dekamori as was digital only in Japan when announced for NA) have to conclude sales numbers are strong enough to merit it.

To me, niche games have to maximize profit per unit sold.  Why so many have LEs to pad profits.  Throw in an art book and CD for a $10-$15 premium helps margins.  There are also things like no English VA and minimal text that can make one project look appealing at 10K sold compared to another at 50K sold.

However, in Europe, Senran Kagura Burst got a physical release, then Shinovi Versus didn't. I think that tells us all we need to know about the state of the European physical market.

No Retail = No buy

Hope you enjoy no games.

That's what all Vita owners have to do anyway :p

A look at Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters.  If you can't stand Bluemaxima, it's him, so don't bother:

Oreshika day one. money in PSN ready to go !!! Too bad about Helldivers not being a good port, saved me some money there.

Helldivers on Vita suck? What a pity, I was actually hyped for it I'm gonna get Oreshika, but I'm still disappointed :-/ I'm finishing Duke Nukem 3D and was hoping for a new shooter this month.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

There atwo more reviews for Oreshika up... Destructoid 8.5/10 and PlayStation Life Style 4.5/10 (the coments here are gold... some bashing the editor and some refuting his argument...)

On another negative note.. Spring fever sale for PSN is up this week, with LEGO series... BUT.. as allways.. SCEA forgot that there are some LEGO games on Vita (four or five, right?).. I already leave my raging comment on it.. not that i care so muh for LEGO games, but for a good price i could try somes.. and my Little brother would like it too...

Apparently, Framerate slows down to a crawl in hectic situations, more so if you are playing 4 player co-op. Considering the entire appeal of the game is co-op,I think thats a big issue. Also I didn't realize this before, but the game requires an internet connection even for the offline single player campaign.

I don't know what to think of Tokyo Hunters. I want to get it because I like VNs and the artstyle looks nice, but everytime I watch gameplay, I think what the fuck is this...

I think that Tokyo Twilight tries to mix dungeon crawler with date sim and some puzzle/strategy aspect... No idea if it succeeds, though... but the concept has potential.

God I really hope Digimon Cyber Sleuth is localized on the Vita.

With Adventure Tri airing next season I would be pretty sad if the game never makes it here.

2015 is the year of Digimon, it's been a long time...

Well that's a pity. Maybe they'll patch it soon, but I doubt Vita version is a priority. Not gonna buy it till they patch it. It's Vita/PS4 or is it also on PS3?

It's on all 3.  And it's cross-buy, so if you own any of the other consoles, it's not a problem (might as well give the Vita verison a try to see how you find it yourself).  It's just for Vita-only owners, you might want to reconsider.
