Should I buy Resistance: Burning Skies for 10€?

I had a lot of fun with it. It's not amazing, I think it was sadly rushed to market as it feels a bit unfinished, but it's some really good FPS gameplay in the later levels. It's nowhere near the level of Killzone: Merc or Strangers Wrath whih will probably remain the best FPS games on a dedicated handheld now.

But yeah, for that price, I'd say the single player campaign is worth a play. There's nothing broken about the actual gameplay. It's just a bit short, and only settles into a decent pace when you're near the end of the game. I guess kinda feels 2/3rds tutorial, with the final third being the main game.

Ok thank you!
I had a lot of fun with Killzone Mercenary and Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified and if this game is similar to them I will buy it!

If you enjoyed COD, you'll enjoy Resistance. It's the same engine and developer and the better game of the two.

Hey Vitans sorry for the long absence

Does anyone know about this game?

The opening looks neat, the gameplay looks similar with Natural Doctrine and this game got my interest!

If you own a PS3, your best bet is to login with a Japanese account and try the demo.

I did, and I experienced an OK game, but nothing revolutionary, and probably a step backwards compared to Valkyria Chronicles.

In Japan it sold very little both on Vita and PS3, and was soon forgotten. Which is not to say that it makes it automatically a bad game, of course.

That's unfortunate. Here I thought any publishers could pick up this game and localize it. Even with only English subs would do for me

Yeah, I think it's a fair price for that game. Campaign is decent, but multiplayer is boring as hell.

No release date, but have box art.

Niiiiiiiiice. Another sad reminder of how nice box art can look without all the shitty logos and rating nonsense.

Is it box art? Or the download code slip they're gonna force on us? :(

It's not been picked up by anyone yet, and it's publisher by FuRyu in Japan (who XSEED have had problems with in the past).

I'd say chances are it's not coming, unless Aksys pull another Sorcery Saga/Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters and surprise everyone (I feel they're the most wildcard localization house).
