According to the Wikipedia entry, this was originally a DS game that got bumped to Wiiware and now it's coming to Vita.  Supposed to teach people about the holocaust?

Sweet. I saw the action Musou game was slated for May in Europe too on one of the UK retailers.

I never played Hyperdimension Neptunia before. Should I get into the series?

I enjoy it a great deal, and would suggest just go with Re;Birth Trilogy on Vita as they did improve some aspects.  It is more light hearted most of the time and plenty of references to the gaming industry.
