Holy crap, this thing could sell like hotcakes, it is very popular at Amazon.jp (1, 11). Even Persona 4 Golden is at 42!
Hope for a release in the west, this bundle could really push sales here.

I picked up a digital copy. Won't be starting so soon, but will tell you about the censorship when I do.

The minigame segment have several stages (4). There are different types of punishment games with 4 stages each. You proceed a stage by filling up a bar with each sessions and the fog gets thinner everytime. At the highest stage where the fog is thinnest, you can see through most of it but certain troublesome areas (crotch/ underwear) are purposely fog-thickened so that you can't see much of it. Which surprisingly makes it look even more explicit than its supposed to be. And the sounds during the minigame is removed but dialogue before and after the sessions is intact.

As for the game itself, It took me quite long to get hooked, I nearly fell asleep in the first hour or so, but now that I'm hooked, the game's pretty addictive and I don't even know why. I find the gameplay mechanic dull and the random encounters annoying, but somehow I just love the game. Currently halfway through the four trials. I have to stress that this game is not for everyone. The turn based mechanic don't stand out much and the lack of battle animation, random encounters can turn off some people.

However, I shall highlight some of the things that are worth mentioning. Most prominent of all is the fact that unlike most Jrpgs, you don't have your whole catalogue of moves/ skills available to you at all times, even after you unlocked them. Instead, each party member will give you suggestions ranging from an attack from a single member, to an all member attack, to spells and skills. Each of which has to be unlocked through the punishment minigame. You can only choose one of the suggestions per turn. It's pretty hilarious when you start of with only one character willing to initiate attack.

And unlike other jrpgs, you can use an item or switch party member once per turn independent of your character's attack. That means your turn can consist of: item+attack or switch+attack or just attack or switch+item+attack.

imo, most of the enjoyment comes from the character interactions and story. So if you're don't find the setting/ characters appealing, this game is probably not for you.

Well, I guess that's not so bad. Played the original psp version, but could only get so far without a translation, gameplay was good. Will be picking up at some point, thanks for all the details.

Does anyone else find Q*bert to be vaguely horrifying? I always have.

Nice for retro fans. Defender was my favorite Atari 2600 game (that's why I love Resogun), but Q*bert was much fun, too!

So now we have a new Defender (Resogun), a new Asteroids (Super Star Dust Delta), a new Tempest (TxK), a new Space Invaders (Titan Attacks) and soon a new Q*bert... Atlantis, Frogger or Jungle Hunt next, please!
