Games do sell consistently over time. It just is dependent on stock to be reshipped. W101 likely hasn't had a new copy printed in 12 months. It should be double digits to selling nothing very soon.

Yes, they probably do, but except for huge hits it stops at some point, like once retailers do a clearance sale and stop stocking the game or when all the copies are gone and the publisher decides not to print another run. But VGChartz assumes about 100 new copies sold per week in the US for any old game, including those that have gone out of print years ago like Afrika or Cross Edge. And since both of those games go for ~$200 sealed nowadays, I really doubt they're actually seeing copies of those moved anywhere. So when they do see a game shift a copy or two, it seems like they say, "Oh, it must have sold 500 that week, then." I don't know how to otherwise explain how out of whack some of these games' sales get over time.
It's official, we have our 4th million seller game:

D: you missed my banter with Badgenome. I actually really like the game. If you like anime, and if you like JRPGs, then you'll like it. It plays pretty much like a button masher. If I'm remembering Grandia 2 well enough, it plays similar to that.

Thanks!
It should arrive in a few days. I'll report back on my first impressions.

When you enter the online lobby, a propa thingy will appear right beside the zakka clerk. You can purchase a ticket for 2000 EP each which will grant you a random special operation. This includes retribution missions. Getting retributions through this way is a lot faster and I was able to reduce my sentence really quickly. I also equipped augmentations contribution booster, and contribution + to nearly double the sentence reduction.
It just appeared yesterday and I'm not sure if it's permanent.

Nanako-chan is so cute!!
Oh and nice job for P4G!! I believe when Atlus announced the game had shipped 700k VGC had it at ~500k at retail. So there's a good chance that it has shipped 1 million with digital!
