That's too bad. I enjoy the very different pace and setup from other games with similar gameplay.

I enjoyed what I played of it, but it didn't hook me more than Atelier Rorona/Demon Gaze/Yakuza 3.

I think this genre just isn't for me.  Freedom Wars has been the best effort so far though.

Just found this article on Kotaku: Vita have more games schudled to release than any other consoles in JAPAN... Actually Vita have more games than 3Ds and WiiU together... but still 3DS sells more software and hardware.. but is nice to read there's still a lot of support for the handheld there...

http://kotaku.com/in-japan-the-vita-has-more-upcoming-games-than-any-oth-1678196355?utm_campaign=Socialflow_Kotaku_Facebook&utm_source=Kotaku_Facebook&utm_medium=Socialflow

About freedom Wars Anouncement.. i would bet more on a expansion DLC rather a so soon "G" version... but that will come.. a PS4 release wouldn't be a surprise but probably will happen together a "G" version on Vita later like GE2Burst recently... AND.. in japan there's NOT GONNA BE PS4 exclusivity on these games... Japan loves handhelds. is just like that, a home console release is only preparations to release them on Western markets, hapenned with Ragnarok oddissey ACE, will probably happen with GE2Burst too... a Phantasy Star Nova plus for PS4 and Vita wouldn't be a surprise for later on this year...

Something seems off here but I can't quite put my finger on it....

Also hopefully next week Vita software can break 1 million. It missed it by ~20k this week.

Wut.  Damn it SCEA, where's my physical release!!

There isn't a physical EU release ;) it more goes to show just how reliable the figures are for more niche stuff such as Vita software on VG Chartz. It's quite funny that people constantly refer to VG Chartz sales figures when slating Vita software sales, when the truth is, no one other than Sony and publishers knows how much any software has really sold on the thing.

Also helps confirm my beliefs that VGC's EU tracking is pure guess work.

Same. I'll definitely be hopping on that train.

Considering how much difficulty they have tracking hardware I don't have any faith in VGC's software numbers. When a game doesn't sell many copies to begin with it's very easy to wind up overtracking it by an order of magnitude if you just assume that it moves a few hundred or thousand copies per week as VGC is wont to do. It drives me up the wall to see people arguing that such and such a game (lately Bayonetta 2 and, of all things, Wonderful 101) didn't flop by pointing to VGC numbers, but aside from the fact that shitting on the numbers too much has been discouraged by mods, it feels weird to even try to argue the point since, well, we're posting on VGC.

Whoa, I can't believe I did it. I chipped off my remaining 400000 sentence in freedom wars in a single night. I had to abuse the appearance of the propa and did retributions continuously.

Please do explain this.

Also, just picked up Hearts R for $30. Quite happy.

I'm of the same mindset.  When it gets to long-term sales of games, VGC starts getting hopelessly lost assuming titles keep selling rather consistently over time.  It's bizarre.
