For the Arland games, they were running on PhyreEngine which clearly scales extremely well for non-demanding games on Vita (i.e. Flower; Neptunia 2 etc.) so I'd imagine it is fairly cheap & easy to port them to Vita. And the sales they were seeing were actually extremely positive - at least for Totori and Meruru.
For the newer games, I'm not so sure. I think they're running on Tecmo Koei Warriors engine or something. But I guess that's been engineered to work on Vita fairly well too (Samurai Warriors 4; Warriors Orochi 3 etc.) so it's probably quite an easy job.
The sales they're seeing these days aren't so good anymore though. Ayesha Plus sold quite poorly in my opinion. But, it was clearly enough for them to persevere with the porting, so I'm pleased with that.
