And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

What this Type-0 fiasco proved was Shahid a freaking fraud!!! He was busy taking all the credit and when SE later redacted he was all like "the fight continues" bullshit Shahid

Yeah that's what I thought, Sony is internally in a mess. Isn't it strange for a senior manager to get the information from the Blog and claim to himself afterwards the credit for the announcement ?

How was he taking all the credit? He credited the person with the #jrpg idea and clearly thought that the fact it was 2nd behind tales had had some clout with SE with regards to making it happen on Vita when SCEA posted that the game was officially happening. (bareing in mind he doesn't work for SCEA)

I don't get why people seem to think SCEE, SCEA and SCEJA are so linked. You only need to look at Sega's history to see just how divided different entities of the same company can be.

Honestly, it's probably a little bit of short term rage, but that Type-0 announcement then withdrawal actually gave me a bit of a kick in the backside regarding Vita.

I'm a little tired of having to fight tooth and nail to get anything I want on this console. Borderlands; Tales of Hearts; Sword Art Online etc. And now Type-0.

And then always crossing my fingers that stuff I want will actually come to the console of its own accord.. Stuff that I presumed would be coming when Vita was announced. Things like Type-0 (always assumed it was a shoe-in for a porting + western release); new Ratchet/Jak/Sly; anything from the mid-tier of Sony (Twisted Metal ; Syphon Filter etc.)

Even when we do get stuff I'd like - such as HD Collections (having some of my favourite games with me on the go is no bad thing), it's a battle to get enough information to see whether they're worth buying or not. And in the majority of cases they're not, due to shit porting.

Even the indies we're getting are hit and miss. There's stuff that catches my interest, sure - I'm hugely hyped for Hotline Miami 2; Drifter looks great etc. But the majority of indie stuff that I'm really excited about gets announced for PS4 only - stuff like Earthlock & Shiness on Kickstarter; or stuff like No Man's Sky and The Talos Principle.

The first two years were great but it's clear that things are only going to keep getting worse from here on.

Anyway, I'm not going to say anything more dramatic like "I'm selling my Vita tomorrow and forgetting all about it". I'm going to keep it and there's still tonnes of stuff I am looking forward to on it (for starters it's the home of Dangan Ronpa!) It's still getting plenty of localizations I really want for the time being.

But I think it's time for me to be a little less invested in it going forward. PS4/3DS had a lot of stuff shown between them that I'm interested in, so it's probably time for me to dive into one of them, rather than devoting 99% of my time to Vita stuff; 1% of time to PS3 and no time to anything else.

It's been a goddamn roller coaster ride being a Vita fan, but one with a lot of excitement which doesn't really lead to any payoff, unfortunately.

On a slightly less depresssing note, here's some Hearts R English screenshots:

I wouldn't say say he was overly  gloating about it but the "don't thank me thank ___" is taking credit in a more humble approach. Sy what you will about the division among SCE but I find hard to believe the sparehead of the #jrpgvita movement got his news the same everyone else had by blogpost and was completely left in the dark later to corrected his said twitter comments. Make me wonder if the games announced  previously were just strokes of luck and Shahid there to take all the credit

I'm jealous. I wish I could enjoy 3DS stuff. It all just seems so massively gimped now (awful frame rates, restricted concepts etc.) that barring stuff like A Link Between Worlds for the most part I just can't enjoy it. I got Senran Kagura Burst, the lack of processing capabilities really dampened it. 10-15fps?? FFS!

There's fairly well documented stuff regarding his interactions with devs etc. However the stuff like Football Manager makes far more sense given he's SCEE and they're made in the same region. Maybe I give him too much benefit of the doubt. But I'm 100% certain he's responsible for many of the decent Western oriented releases we've had in the last year.

@Kresnik, that was exactly what I felt, I've had tons of fun with the vita and hopefully more to come.
I was just pumped up to make everyone try it, because I think the handheld is a technological masterpiece and deserves the developers' attention. But, now I'll just leave it be. I'll be grateful for what's served on it, and will invest more in the PS4 and maybe i'll buy a 3DS in the future.
