I don't hate digital, but I surely prefer physical, for all the reason stated...

Anyway, we who love physical games, are also in an ambiguous situation, because lots of games tend to get patched through an online download, and sometimes more than once...
So, the situation is that we really own/possess/collect only the 1.0 version of the software we buy. From the first patch or DLC on, we face the same problems we stated for any full digital download (can't safely preserve, can't resell, eats memory, etc...)

For example, I forsee that Freedom Wars, for the type of game it is, is going to be heavily patched, updated and expanded through downloads as it goes on. Another example: God Eater 2 online battle mode isn't included in the physical cart itself.

That's another reason we probably didn't bring up enough.  4GB games in themselves were already ridiculous as you could fit 7 on a 32GB card or 15 on a 64GB card before it was full (since you don't get the full amount).  But now games are running even higher.  Patched Killzone is bigger than that.  Borderlands 2 is reportedly bigger than that.  And yes, like you say, games like Freedom Wars/God Eater/LittleBigPlanet etc. are constantly receiving patches that push them bigger and bigger.

I wouldn't mind if memory cards were bigger, but sadly they are not.

The paradox is that the more they are patched, the more we could be whising to go physical, to save some memory...

I'm really hoping we get Freedom Wars physical in the west.  I'm hoping Soul Sacrifice Delta was just a blip because it was an expansion game rather than a new one, and so this isn't the start of a new trend.

Omg how did I miss DW8E announcement. So weird that there was no Vita announcement though, will pick up the PS4 version I guess

Moral of trailer: 3DS is for women and children.  Vita is for men.

There's a couple of reviews up for this game on Metacritic too.  Seems to be pretty well received.

ESRB =/= PEGI.  Neither Shopto nor Amazon have the game listed yet.  Actually a little worrying...

Though I suppose I can import as a last resort now.

You said the west! Now you're just being a picky little bear!
