Rofl, what's with the Crash Bandicoot crate design? Lol.
Micro Machines be damned. Circuit Breakers is where the real pros raced tiny cars on PS1! Funnily enough, about 2 months ago I started playing that game again and had an absolute blast with it.
God, the PS1 had so many goddamn awesome games. I wish Sony would work a bit harder getting them up on PS1.
But anyway, if this game turns out anything like that, they've got themselves a sale. I'll probably buy it anyway just because I want to support Ripstone actually.
And if there's one genre I wish Vita was getting more of, it's racing games. Between my Vita and my PSP I've decided that apart from 3D platformer & JRPG's, there's nothing I'd rather play on a handheld. Works so well in small doses having a race or two here or there; and you can really push the graphics on a handheld too by having them in confined tracks, which is fine by me.
Uff. Get working on Vita, Codemasters. Kinda wish we were getting more street racing games too.
And one final thing I wanted to say. I know this is kinda weird, but I've noticed that indies have started filling gaps in the market which used to be on PSP at retail but have now become download only. Puzzle platformers like Exit and Crush existed on PSP and were retail releases, but we just get them as download-only releases from indies on Vita now. That new trailer reminded me a lot of Pocket Racers for PSP. So we are getting a lot of the content PSP got, just not in the same format anymore.
Anyway, yes. Thanks for sharing, Mike!
P.S. HURRY UP AND MAKE VTRAX, SUPER ICON! I still can't believe they went ahead with that stupid indoor sports game instead of this.
