I don't get all this Nintendo conference hate. Was it really that bad?

Anyway;

Nintendo- 9/10 (may drop to an 8 if we don't here much about Wiiu later in the day)

Sony- 7/10

MS- 4/10

LOL 9/10 WHAT a surprise

Mostly everyone I've seen on here and other sites have scored it well under 9.

Not me!

And a lot of people scored it above 2/10 as well

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Nothing on Wii excep SS, so much for all those Wii games coming up this holiday!! 3DS was just a rehash of what they showed a year ago, and WiiU ... I'm not even going there it doesn't even feel like a next gen console. Come 2015 it'll be outdated compared to actual next gen consoles coming out.

Also you missed my post! - http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4091123

I agree with most of the guys. This years E3 was average , but Sony was slightly better due to PSVita, Uncharted 3 and the HD Collections...

If we're going by presentation

Nintendo: 5/10
Sony: 5/10
Microsoft: 2/10

If we're talking announcements that I liked

Nintendo: 8/10 (Smash Bros on WiiU AND 3DS?!?! Didn't expect that at all, new videos showing off what WiiU can do, need to still find the start so I can see the Zelda stuff)

Sony: 7/10 it was very middle range then they showed off Little Big Planet on Vita and it was like LBP to save the day again, turned Vita from a pass to a buy once LBP hits

Microsoft: 1/10 in all honesty I found nothing exclusive that I would pay money for, they stuck one of my favorite developers up there and had him look like his soul was sucked out trying to hype up a meh looking Kinect game... and overall I don't care about Halo if it's not made by Bungie...

Microsoft: 6.0
Nintendo:8.9
Sony:9.0

Microsoft's was a HUGE letdown. They seemingly are dying in a fizzle like spark. Nothing outside the complete norm there. Unfortunately some of the new norm offerings were completely lackluster. Fable:The Journey comes to mind.....Don't even get me started on the Kinect shovelware and poor implementation.

Nintendo had a very good showing but they seriously need to branch out of the normal Zelda,Metroid,Mario, etc circle because as someone who is not interested in those they do nothing for me. All of them are Action-ish Platformers that rehash the same stuff over and over. Mario Kart is racing but....i don't like Mario so it does nothing for me.

Sony hit all the right notes. It had something for everyone. And the Vita is definitely in a league of its own. They took the ass wooping the PSP got from the DS to heart and they really worked on this new one to fix it's short comings. The Vita's launch line up is superb(Uncharted GA,SuperStardust Delta, Ruin, etc) all very well recieved by those who have experienced it. SF X Tekken + Cole Magrath equals EPIC!!!! And don't forget....Vita for 250!!!! 3DS might just have met it's match folks. Move stuff was ok, actually might get Mediaval Move. I do wish that they touched on Sorcery, Twisted Metal, AGENT, DONTNOD's RPG, etc tho. Yet for what they had in comparison to the others, Sony Won by a huge margin except Ninty's.

Microsoft 4/10 (At least they confirmed halo 4)
Sony 1/10(If i were interested in the Vita 6/10) (0 interesting new announcements for the ps3, the only sony system I care for)
Nintendo 5/10 ( Only because I'm somewhat interested in the WiiU and they confirmed it. Now if they actually showed something interesting for it.

I'm surprised about all the PSV hype. System doesn't impress me at all, just like the 3DS didn't impress me last year. Will all the people who now scream hooray eventually buy a PSV? I doubt it.

Anyway:
Nintendo "won" in my book. The Zelda part at the beginning was great, the Wii U pad/controller looks extremely interesting to me and I bet they'll show us some surprises on their homepage. Still one of the most clever companies in this industry. Always doomed by both, haters and most devoted fans, but sells way more systems and 1st party games each week than Sony and showed us at last and this year's E3 their plans to counter the only real dangerous competitor: smartphone/pad gaming.

On a related note: I demand a PC gaming conference at next year's E3.

I don't want to call anyone a 'winner'. I was under the impression that this would be the most amazing e3 ever, but instead the biggest news was the PSV's price.

It doesn't feel like Nintendo actually revealed anything. I mean, we all knew the tablet design would be implemented.

As bad as Sony's conference was, they had the best presentation in my books. I was really pleased with Vita and the release date for SotC/Ico (though made long after). Everything else (including the rest of Sony's conference) was fairly disappointing.

I just had to clarify quick. 343 Studios contains the best minds behind the Halo franchise (including Frank O'conner) so in reality 343 studios will probably do a better job then current Bungie can do at a Halo game.
