Bad move from CCP to make it console exclusive.

As a former EVE player, I do not think this is going to be a good idea. When this has been announced, there's been a lot of negative thoughts from the EVE community, who is really reactive to the proposition of CCP. Why not on PC ? Why alienating the platform of choice of your own subscribers ?

Due to the volativity of the lifespan of FPSes, It will be hard for EVE players to get in touch with a FPS crowd. Also, the Dust players will have to get on the same levels than EVE players. Fight on the battlefield, but also on the forums. Winning the heart or being hated by the community can be a matter of mere posts.

If the EVE players have a financial interest in the PI (planetary interaction) that will make them create alliances with the Dust players, then it will be massive. Otherwise, they will stay in space for moar epic battle around technetium moons.

very mature comment from you passing on a game that uses controllers. Your only excuse at that. But hey, you got your preference, and so does many other people. you passing on this game ain't hurting anyone. It is just to bad that I think you going to miss out on fun.

I wouldn't be surprised if this also came to the PC, but as far as "console" exclusivity (or whatever the hell some fools refer to it as) it's PS3 only due to the PSN being more "open ended" than Xbox Live.

Dug up some interesting information, apparently the most innovative thing about this FPS is it's business model. 

THIS GAME WILL BE FREE TO DOWNLOAD OFF PSN AND NO MONTLHY FEE EITHER.

You read that right, also, things like new maps and missions will be free as well.  Buuuuuut, there will be a  DLC model where you buy ingame armor and weapons with in game money or actual cash , albeit cheaply.  (For instance, 0.05 cents for new shotgun, ect.) or you can get the EVE Online players to "financially invest" in you, as the trailer showed.

Interesting,  if Dust actually turnsout to be a quality shooter (doubtful) but if it does, EVE online guys are going to make a killing.

CCP announced 2 years ago that this will be console exclusive. I play EVE online myself, and what I can say about the EVE community on the forums is that they are pc elitist that believe anything other than PC is worthless. I think I have the right to say this, most of them are little brats with huge epeen complexes. Their critizism is mind blowing.
