the wii has many type of games at least one of eac mayber genre and lets not forget its only the begining of the second year. What did 360 have its first year? Not a kiler game like SMG, or LoZ:TP but i degress if you program yourself not to like something it will take time to like it.

THAT'S HOW I FEEL!!! Those are the words I've been looking for......before if asked why I don't like the Wii, I would say "It's too kiddish" or "The only real games are Mario, Zelda, and Metroid"......but no, Nintendish is the word.

I hopped on Goombas when I was younger....I don't want that anymore....I too got sick of that by the time I got my N64, that's why I didn't get a Cube

SMG is Nintendo's software while Wii is hardware; two separate issues. I have no doubt that Nintendo make some great software ( still a fan of both Zelda and Metroid) but when it comes to their hardware IMO it comes up short. At least Nintendo should risk a little more cash and made the Wii run in HD even if it raise the cost to $300 at first. (ps2 sold like hotcakes at $300) That way it would now be in the position to get some serious hardcore 3rd party exclusives.
It's Wii second year as it already seem to reach it's hardware limits especially in graphics.

I've played it a couple of times, and from what I've played, it really hasn't impressed me. That makes me sad because I'm a big Mario, Metroid, Zelda fan and I'm still not sold on the controls. I was just happy that TP was on GCN too (even though the Wii version was just an upgraded port) because I wouldn't have bought a Wii for just Zelda. Mario Galaxy just looks so amazing.

I give it to the Wii though. If you just want to play a fun, simple game, it has what you want.

I just couldn't have the Wii and not own either a PS3/360. It's the perfect compliment to either one.

It's ok. Mario Galaxy is very fun. Wii sports is ok, as is Lego Star Wars. The controller annoys the hell out of me though. It has to be one of the worst controllers I have used. The pointer is week, you have to be right in front of your set for it to work decent. The fact you need the sensor bar to begin with is just annoying. Component cables make a difference, but its still not great in terms of looks. Had the console been a $100 cheaper it would have been well worth it, but at its current price its just not a very good deal. I think most will get bored very quickly

To tell the truth, I don't feel like spending money on a Wii but I want to play the games on it... I know I'm an odd person! XD I have no choice though! I like the controls and VC but I won't really use the rest of the stuff on it.

I prefer Nintendo as a company but I like some games on other consoles. I tried Assasin's creed on my bfs PS3 and I had much fun! ^^ I would need to convince him to buy Eternal Sonata for 360 so that I can play it! XP

But anyways, I can somewhat see why some people don't like it. I mean not everyone likes to move, some prefer analog controls and the games available on it now can turn off people from it.

It's all about pesonal preferences I don't see why anyone would argue about it but I guess the human nature is to despise those who have different ideas and tastes than us.

i hate the NINTENDO WII its really bad!! ps1 graphics and maybe a little worse...its only suitable for children under 10 years.its one of these consoles that people wish to uninvent..:D

Can we label him as fanboy?

I've played Wii sports twice, and I just found it a bit dull. I also played Wii play, and it may have just been me, but the point is quite sensitive and it takes a while to get used to, so it was only on my second go that I got used to it, but I still found it a little dull, basically, I don't like the Wii mote, or that whole concept, although i wouldn't mind using it from time to time (like the uses in Uncharted or Ratchet) but for that to be USP, it just does not interest me
