Forums - Sony Discussion - Thoughts on Sony's Press Conference

Personally I thought the Uncharted and Resistance stuff looked great, the PS Vita's price was right on point, and the apology at the beginning seemed like the guy meant. Whether or not that was strictly about how much money was lost or not is moot, it was believable.

I thought the PS Move stuff was weak sauce though. I want fun Move games, not hardcore move games. Not every PS3 owner is a "core" gamer.

Also, I thought the stuff for the NGP was a bit underwhelming as well as the whole bit about AT&T. That part is a HUGE bummer. Didn't you learn anything from apple? Thats one company that (I am a pc guy too) that has the best brand rep out there, and AT&T was the most damaging thing for them.

At least its android.

I give MS a C- and Sony a C+

personally i thought it was a fairly good conference... yeah the lack of announcements was a little disappointing but there were many interesting things mentioned like the 3d tv bundle and the ngp price... "whole bit about AT&T" as for this bit the ngp isn't reliant on the 3g network in fact if its a huge deal you can just opt for the wifi only version ( it all depends on whether you need to be constantly connected or not but regardless there are many hot spots around anyway )
