Right after Dynasty Warriors in the PS Vita reel they showed a fucking HOT ass 2D game. I'm assuming that was Vanillaware. If so, I change my score to 50/10.

You guys get your expectations far too high for the conferences. Most of the new games are announced in the two weeks prior to the show.

That being said, I expect a lot from Nintendo's conference.

EA's 4. (origionally marked it 5, but on reflection it was even poorer than i first imagined)

Microsoft's 3.

Sony's 3.

Nintendo's E3 to lose now for sure, but i doubt theirs will be anywhere near as bad as the tripe i have seen so far.

i gave it an 8, but really its closer to a 7.5.

+NGP price= awesome ( kas should have started saying 599 US dollars, then changed it to $249, that would have been funny)

+ affordable 3DTV (with full screen split screen, kinda like i predicted), im going to college in the fall and it will be perfect.

+ lots and lots of exclusives, everything had some sort of exclusive stuff

+move compatible titles, and 3d titles for that soon to be mine, TV.

+lots of 3rd party exclusive stuff

in all a little dissapointing,  i expected some big reveals, but we did get a lot of smaller ones.

and lol at the person saying that microsoft announced more and better AAA titles than Sony. nearly everything in the Microsoft conference was shovelware.

nearly everything for Sony was a high quality exclusive (or games with exclusive content unlike TR and MW3) for PS3 or NGP, barring one or two Move only titles

I meant a single good PS3 exclusive. Ruins is PS Vita.

MS sucked too, but at least they announced a few good games. Halo 4 so far looks to be the biggest game of 2012, and a Halo 1 remake is pretty awesome. That game has a 97/100 metascore, a damn good game to remake, especially since Reach just came out. Also there were some decent Kinect games. Fable, Ryse, Dance Central 2 (it's fun, don't hate), and Kinect Sports 2.

MS did spend too much time on shovelware, like Disneyland, but at least they didn't try to sell me a TV and spend 20 minutes pitching that 3D gaming with glasses is the way of the future.

Sony's Press conference was only decent because of PS Vita, but I'm done with handheld gaming, so to me the Sony press conference was utter garbage.

I claim bias because BOTH conferences sucked, but despite MS offering more on the 360 front, the Sony conference is getting more praise. PS Vita is cool, but what unique and interesting software is it providing? PS Vita is no different then PSP offering PS3 games instead of new experiences.

And ruin is a ps3/PSV game.

I gave it a 5. Nothing really new and I have no interest in handhelds. I gave the MS conference a 6 because at least it was a bit more entertaining. The Sony conference was pretty boring.

Both showed some great games, some good games and some awful looking crap.

I'm not that big into handhelds but they almost convinced me to buy a Vita. Almost is the key though. In the end almost every Vita game is a rehash of an existing PS3 franchise so I think I will pass for now...



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Vita Price is very possibly a megaton, depending on the power of the machine. Still unexpected.
They showed some new exclusives and content.

Nothing huge outside of Vita Pricing
No Vita specs(if they were THAT great, I assume they would gloat)
Too much focus on 3D/move, which to myself are very niche items

I dont like Sony(still mad about OtherOS debacle) but they certainly outshined MS by a mile(I gave their conference 2/10). They should continue to do fine. Vita should do well unless Ninty cuts the price on the 3DS right before the holidays. I dont see Vita doing that much better than 3DS due to want of the system but more due to the 3DS's cost(at most $50 less than the cheapest PSP) and smartphone games cutting in on the casual gamer market. It should be quite a bit tighter and if Vita gets hacked like the PSP I think it could very well beat Ninty this gen. I dont necessiraly see it selling much better than the original PSP which is doing pretty great as it stands



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

The only problem is announcing games before E3. It already happen before.
