Tomb Raider had Angelina Jolie, so that means it goes top of the list

Other than that I quite liked SIlent Hill. I thought it kept fairly true to the games.

Prince of Persia and Doom were a good laugh.

personally i loved the new super mario bros movie. it had some good jokes and i love john leguizamo. say what you will, that movie is still funny to this day

Spirits Within is awesome. But I have to go with Pokémon: The First Movie!

tomb raider or resident evil 2. damn movies based on games freaking suck.

the second tomb raider movie and price of Persia are two of the best

Prince of Persia, although that's not saying much.

Street Fighter 2 anime, i still watch it sometimes, plot holes and all. FF7 advent children. anything done in Japan based on games has been alright, beside Sonic

Prince of Persia then the first Resident Evil movie.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
But, As others have said it has very little to do in relation to actual FF games.

So if you disqualify the above because they're just using the FF name to sell tickets (That worked great! :))

I liked both of the films neither are brilliant. But they were really fun action movies with angelina jolie as laura croft.

Actually the Prince of Persia flick was pretty damned good. I was really surprised and happy with that movie, it was exactly true to the story but no viedo game movie adaptation will be simply because its not practical.

It was close enough, had good acting, great action sequences, and was just overall a fun movie.
