I can see how they are focusing on Kinect and why, but i dont really care too much for these kinds of games. And a remake of a shooter and yet another Halo??? Where are the new IPs?? Sony could still do worse but im 99% sure that Ninty will walk all over MS this year

On one hand I commend all of the Kinect support, but on the other (which pertains to me personally), none of the full-on Kinect games were very interesting, and the integrations into core games (Mass effect, etc) seemed tacked on and unnecessary.

COD looked great, Gears and Fable looked ok and the Halo 4 finale, like someone else mentioned, was just way too brief to be amazing. Granted, I'm not the biggest Microsoft/Xbox fan but I loved their '06 conference, for example. I expect Sony and Nintendo's conferences to top this one pretty easily.

It was great!

I haven't laughed that hard for a while. I only managed up to Mass Effect 3:Read along with me.

Is that the 'hardcorez' Kinect experience everyone has been waiting for? Voice recognition?

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

@d21lewis bullcrap, how about new IPs for the core gamer?? That would be a start. Halo 4 and another Halo remake?? Are they trying to turn that franchise into COD?? a spinoff to an existing IP?? footage of a game that by all rights should have been released already??? footage of games that are multiplat???

This E3 is worse than last year for MS. Kinect games on rails... just what I needed. I was hoping MS did something innovative for navigating, but nope. MS announce zero new core/IP games. The core games they did announce were mostly multiplat games.

I thought it was really poor tbh. I know they are aiming at a new demographic with Kinect but Disneyland/Ryse/Star Wars/Sesame Street all involve the same kinect actions again and again. The action in Star Wars looked so boring - slash slash jump slash slash jump. Ryse - slash slash kick slash slash kick. Disneyland - flying through the air dodging stuff, Star Wars - flying through the air dodging stuff. I reckon these games will sell well but get really poor reviews. Also some of the voice recognition stuff seems a bit tacked on and slightly needless.
Also all the demonstrations were pre-recorded and at times were poorly out of sync. Little things in the Funlabs demonstration such as the type of clothes she was wearing/the bag she scanned in were all pre-decided to make it look impressive. I bet it doesnt work half as well in reality.

Bullshit.
Why should they record a demonstration with bloopers. Happened once in Star Wars Kinect, twice in Sesame Street (the little boy starting the scene by opening the pages) and in Fable The Journey when the demonstrator made a bigass spell that didn't hit the target at all.

@ d21lewis

Honestly man you post felt so paranoid that it almost bordered the ridiculous. There will always be some complaining and some saying well no matter the subject. If Sony's conference is really bad, or Nintendo's for that matter, people will agree about it. I think most are reasonable enough here to do so.

Microsoft's conference lacked something in the opinion of the majority, as did Sony in 2006 or Nintendo in 2008 I believe. It was not bad, it's just that it's very likely Nintendo and Sony will do better.

Are 434 Industries good at making games though?

All that Kinnect enfasis and Halo 4 on 2012 aren't enough. Are they?

Nintendo and Sony will tell.

What is an enfasis?  Do you mean emphasis?
