Impressive voice! 8.5/10. Why couldn't they make a better recording of this? ....

Yeah, I get what you mean. I kind of like the sound quality of this recording though because it sort of gives you the feeling that you are there listening to her but I would like a better sound version as well. Problem is that this song was co-written by her and other people and ultimately written for David Ghetta:

So I have the feeling that Sia (the singer from both the original song and the video I first posted) doesn't treat the song as hers completely and may be a rare listen in her performances.
A nice piano cover of Titanium:

Titanium in the film Pitch Perfect (the scene is safe for work, just in case)

That is a very honest and melancholic piece. I have never heard of this guy before (that I am aware) and I am glad you shared. Thanks! 9/10
Let's try this one again:

I guess his lack of popularity due to his reclusive and distant nature explains why you never heard of him. He was an awkward fellow who rarely performed live and did little to promote his work. I don't think it helps that he died at the age of 26 after releasing only three albums. He was almost completely unknown at the time and posthumously it took decades before he gained any recognition. Nick Drake's story is quite tragic and his untimely death was one of the greatest losses for contemporary music.

As soon as I heard that song I went to "acquire" this guy's discography and read about those things you kindly shared. I plan on listening to his work soon. It surprised me how contemporary that song sounded in spite of year of release. Thanks for sharing.
Very heavy and mechanical in a good kind of way. It has been a while since I last listened to Godflesh. 8.9/10
