It's a very very interesting video and goes against a lot of what I've heard about southern states and is much more like what I think the ideals of Christianity actually are.

I wonder how many came in support of the gay couple vs. the lesbian couple. I bet the lesbian couple recieved more overall support. Also, the two men who came in support of the gay couple seemed like they were gay themselves.

And at the end of the day these people show their true colours when they're asked to vote, and they repeatedly deny equal rights to gays (even though it goes against the principles of democracy to vote for the civil rights of a minority group in the first place).

I think you're being pessimistic Sapphi. I think these people were merely supportive of the properly Christian ideal of not judging people because it's not their place. There's no reason to think the guys who came to support the couple were gay themselves.

There are two dominant forms of Christianity: one that promotes, love, tolerance, empathy, liberty, and acceptance; the other that promotes judgement, mythology, and forces strict belief in order to gain access to heaven rather than be sent to hell.

Maybe I'm being pessimistic here, but considering the situation for homosexuals in Texas (that law that says that you can choose to not serve a person because he/she's gay), I think my point is already proven. And I really did get a gay vibe from those two guys who come to support the gay couple (didn't get it from the guys who supported the lesbian couple).
