This is becoming a ridiculously good year for co-op games, with special thanks to Sony and PS3 games. I love me some co-op.  Uncharted 3 vs. Gears of War 3 is looking to be an unprecedented TPS battle, the co-op is just a super sweet cherry on top. 

What are the best co-op games of 2011?  Here is what I am excited for, but please add to the list because I'm sure we could all benefit.

Gears of War 3 should easily take this when all is said and done but there's been plenty of awesome co-op and more to come.

I'm thnking that Uncharted 3 is going to outduel Gears of War 3 in the co-op arena.  Gears is great, no doubt, but Uncharted has never had campaign co-op before so the freshness alone of the 2009 GOTY should take the crown.

Saints Row 3 has co-op?  Saints Row is looking to be seriously good game right now.

actually, I'm sorry I don't think it does.  I was reading the article on IGN.  It is called Hunters Mode.  I think it is just a local mode, but not campaign.

Yeah Saints Row 2 already did. But split screen is pretty much impossible in a sandbox game (or you do it on one screen and get a butchered mode like in San Andreas) so it will be system link and/or online co-op
