Yeah, there are a ton of FPSes out there and, yeah, we really don't need another one. But I'll still take an interesting sci-fi/fantasy FPS like XCOM or BioShock over another Call of Duty military clone any day.

I would never boycott a good game, both the franchise and the developer have great pedigree and while I agree that the game is moving from its root, I don't have any reason to despise it base on just that. That being said, what I've seen hasn't been that impressive.

Unlike the ink monsters from earlier trailers I actually like the geometry morphing guys style. Other than that it's just another fps with bioshock like asthetic which quite frankly I don't feel that great a need to play. So add in the fact that it shits on the XCOM brand just like enforcer did and I have to buycot it to send a message that we don't want clasic fanchises revived as FPS's with nothing to do with the originals, this game should have been an original ip

Generic FPS looking games that ruin classics... Hurt my feelings.

Xcom is one of the best games ever. Seriously. It's the perfect strategy game. Turning it into a generic FPS is a kick to the nuts of everyone who ever played the original.
