Two major Polish retailers list PC role-playing game The Witcher 2 for release on Xbox 360 on 15th November 2011.

That's a Tuesday.

There's no sign of a PlayStation 3 version, revealsThe Witcher Wiki.

Gram.pl, which used to be owned by the game's Polish developer CD Projekt, has box art for the Xbox 360 version.

Shop Ultima does not, but carries the 15th November date.

Last month the American age ratings board ESRB outed an Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

This backed comments by CD Projekt, which told Eurogamer that a new Witcher game would be announced at E3 "that console gamers might be interested in".

Man we both just posted the same thing lol.

Since I support this company, I might buy the game twice. It might be the first game I buy twice

(I don't count FF9, I bought that 4 times (1) because friends ruined it (2) because cousin took it, and kept it, (3) that I own, and (4) on PSN). 

This will be a day 1 buy for me because I've always been super interested in The Witcher but don't have a beast PC to run it.

So PLEEEEEEEASE be true.

The Witcher was a great RPG on the PC set in "The Witcher" universe created by a Polish author (whose name I can't recall).

Geralt of Rivera is the main protagonist and the original was a well writter, enjoyable RPG whose biggest fault might be the repition of combat.

The Witcher 2 continues Geralt's story and they claim to have addressed the combat issue; I ONLY haven't played this yet, because my PC could only handle it on "low" settings, and I want more than that.  Will keep my eye on the 360 version, but will probably just buy this for my PC, when I build a new one.

UPDATED: Developer CD Projekt has confirmed the news during its Summer Conference - the The Witcher II is coming to Xbox 360 later this year with all the content from the PC version intact.

Well, I'm glad for CDProject because they deserve all the recognition and money they can get.

I wouldn't get the game for a console. Not after what I learnt from Origins.
