As the title asks, what if, instead of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Dragon Quest X gets moved to Project Cafe?

Personally i don`t think that this time Zelda will make the transition to another console. But, seeing as Dragon Quest X is taking all this time to be released - and if i remember, there were rumors that it wouldn`t be released this year - there`s a smaaaall chance that it could be moved to Cafe - Wii not doing that great; doesn`t seem to be the console for RPG lovers'

If it ended up being a launch title or closer to that, it could be a killer app for Cafe`s japanese launch.
The only problems i see in converting the title would be a) time to upgrade to Cafe standards and b) not a big user base to release a game of such caliber.

What do you guys think? Feasible or not?

i think that would be pretty cool and smart the game could help build the cafe userbase pretty fast imo. All they would trully need to do is upgrade the look of the game for cafe. And seeing the art style of the game in general it woldnt be a big thing to me.

That`s what i think aswell. It would really push Cafe`s sales since it`s such a loved series in Japan.

We'd just have the game ported to another system. People might buy it, but the DQ team has been careful not to release the series on an unproven system. They tend to go for the most mainstream systems in Japan, and even the 3DS is having trouble there.

Are you talking ported to Cafe or move as in no Wii version? Cuz no Wii version would kinda suck

Honestly, for DQ, system hardly matters so I wouldn't care much. I can't really see it happening, though - nowdays it's confirmed and reconfirmed for Wii every few months. Businesswise, it would be smart of Nintendo to convince SE to do so, I should think. You can have worse fates than being labelled "DQ console" in Japan from launch...
