Even if we go by the "he gave her the sperm" nonsense, in that case what she does with it is her own business. IF she used it to get preganant, then it's her problem. If you'd give someone a car, and they ran over an old lady, should you go to jail for their actions?

Also, what makes you think he gave her his sperm in the first place? Maybe he just let her hold it.

It still is a man's world.  A woman getting away with one thing because of a stupid court desicion doesn't change that.


Due to the forgery it's pretty clear there should be a problem.


However if she didn't forge his signature... it would of been his fault for not closing her out of the account...  like if you leave an ex on your bank account.

Legally that's both of yours.

The guy should be pressing charges against her, and sueing that Sperm Bank, who did a louse job of protecting his sperm. Definitely a judgement call there, maybe he can see them as people who are biologically his kin, but socially not his family at all. In that perspective you're absolutely right. Maybe there is no better way to look at it. I guess I didn't see it like that. Up to now (thank God my surroundings are still sane), I've always considered blood link to be family. Still a little grey if you ask me.

The ideea is that he had no (willing) part whatsoever in the conception. It would be the equivalent of a woman getti ng raped, becoming pregnant with the rapist, and then forced to give birth and take care of her rapist's child. This woman commited fraud, and something that many women do (steal a man's sperm, become pregnant, and then sue him for child support), which quite frankly should be considered a sex crime. She should be locked up in jail, have to pay the man moral damages, the clinic should have to do the same.

As for raising the kids resulted from this transgression, the man should be the last person who should have any obligation to care for them. A relative of the woman's or the state should care for them while she's in prison, and the man shouldn't be financially burdened in any way. He has an actual family, and actual children to take care of.

What? How many women do that? This is the first time I've heard of something like this in my life...
