Someone else started a thread to discuss the Pokedex 3D here http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=129366&page=1&str=115353081#maxposts. Please go to his thread if you want to comment on that. My thread is to discuss ideas for interesting 3D apps you would like to see on the 3DS.

App showing of alll of Samus' costumes for people like me that like to draw.......I used to pause my VCR and draw Voltron, 1:1, off of the TV screen

Zelda timeline app complete with cutscenes (not the same ones from the games, but telling the same story)

An upgrade to the Flipnote Studio of the DSi. One will be able to select which of his flipnotes can be transmitted through Streetpass and whether he wants to receive through Streetpass. I would like to be able to use Augmented reality in my flipnotes also.

I'll edit this post when I think of any more. I know not all apps hace to be game related. Given the Streetpass, Augmented Reality and 3D features amongst others, what type of apps would you like to see downloadable on the 3DS eshop? Since the most popular apps will always be the free apps and the very cheap apps, keep this in mind as you come up with ideas of your own.

The most obvious thing would be Pokemons battling AR-style on your table, but that'll probably be full retail.

This will most likely happen in the first major Pokemon game on the 3DS. It will make a much more interesting backdrop than those in previous pokemon games, but I think it will get old fast. Better not be the major selling feature.......

Since Youtube actually already wants to go 3D, and Youtube is a free service, a free downloadable youtube app will actually be a great idea. And you'll be able to upload your 3D videos....right after they add a video recording function to the 3DS.

The Flipnote Studio thing was confirmed to be coming.

Also,I think that 3D Hulu and Netflix apps would be good.

I would like to see a full-fledgd App Store come to the 3S, but I don't want shovelware apps like iOS and Android.
