It's simple really; Rockstar does indeed have some of the highest rated games by critics, not by gamers :) Besides critical acclaim doesn't matter to the majority of gamers, e.g. some of my favourite games are in the 75-89 range on Metacritc.

Actually Symphonia is also my favorite Tales game too. Oh how I want Graces on Wii so bad. And grr I want to play Tales of Xillia but its on PS3 :P I hope Cafe gets the good treatment. In fact, I hope Cafe totally destroys its competition . . .

I'd have to go with Team Ico, sure there are other development teams with longer histories of making great games that I enjoy, but Team Ico made two games that really feel different from anything else for me including my favorite game of all time (SotC) so I have to go with them. Lots of other great developers I could mention, but if I gotta choose just one that I love it's Team Ico.
