oh wait now.....now suddenly we have a way to distinguish the 'good' hackers and 'bad' hackers among these lot? The one being ignorant and naive here is you. You can't be annonymous and suddenly say wai wai it wasn't me I swear it's the other guy...that's just plain stupid. But you are right on one thing, that song is even more lame that hotz rap song, anon stupid videos and liners such as we are legion until shit gets serious then we hack each other

And my comment wasn't aimed at them anyways..it was and always has been aimed at all idiotic hackers and their supporters. Hack your shit at home and leave us alone. For me they all suck..it's like a terrorist..doesn't matter if it's the dumbshits who attack US  or India..all are dumbshits despite having different 'reasons'

No, I never said that, but generalizing all hackers into one group is stupid. One group attacks Sony with DDoS attacks in the name of "consumer rights", hey they must be the same that hacked into PSN and stole user data. And hey, those guys must also be the guys who hacked Codemasters site and took their data too. Who needs evidence?

Lumping people all together and blaming them is stupid and just promotes ignorance. These groups even have names to identify them, so it's not even acceptable to blame all of them at once... Because hey, Al Qaeda is basically the same thing as the IRA, right right?? They are both terrorist organizations.
Or Girl Scouts and Jehovah's Witnesses, they are both groups that bother me at home... barely any differences between the two groups!

obviously I wasn't referring to ALL HACKERS in the world, if it came out that way I apologize. I meant to aim that remark at the scum who are invovled with this sony fiasco. and again they are ANON, you can't be anon at one point and then turn around have names and say wait wait we are anon but it wasn't me, it's the other guy with this name pinky swear.

and I'm not familiar with IRA so I won't comment on them. BUT I am well aware about AL qaeda, terrorists attacking India AND the terrorists that used to be in Sri Lanka. They are not the same people but they are all dumbasses regardless. For the terrorists who stay home and blow up their own rooms (if there are any) I have asbolutely no beef with them, knock yourself out trying to kill yourself as much as you like..it won't bother anyone else

I guess the issue you have is with the freedom fighters bit I said earlier. It's like this IF the supporters of such so called freedom fighters at the begining thought even for a second they are helping creating a path to a situation that we at today, that's just ....not even sure what it is. Short sightedness? Ignorance? take your pick. The hacker community is losing supporters and has become a joke to many now. Sadly this might even lead to more regulations on the net usage or something which I hope doesn't happen. But yeah, if someone supported freedomfighters earlier, you are as much as to blame for this as you were with previous incidents. To them, I just laugh in their general direction

Yes, noob: the good hackers write their own shitty rap songs while the bad hackers just change the words to the theme songs of sitcoms.

How many times does it have to be explained. This is a culmination of resentments. The hackers are simply rioting. They have had enough, and have just snapped. All the negative Karma Sony has banked over the past decade is just coming due all at once. Look this psychotic fucking hatred is something that gets nursed over years. You simply do not get to this point over night. People had to have huge simmering resentments waiting to explode. Sony just managed to strike the very last nerve. Had it not happened then it would most assuredly have happened in the near future. Call it what it really is. Sony just managed to piss enough people off to start the ball rolling.

Speaking to being caught in the crossfire. That is actually part of the message the hackers are sending. They are delivering a not too subtle threat. Do business with Sony, and there will be consequences. I wouldn't underestimate them based on their gentle treatment of bystanders thus far. Yes it was gentle in that they didn't use the stolen information against any of us. However I wouldn't count on that being the case in future attacks. They may consider consumers to have received fair warning. So they may not have any scruples about doing real harm.

The comments are probably hyperbole, but I personally wouldn't risk it myself. They seem rather determined, and that means they may actually have a way to really hurt Sony. That to me speaks hacking the customers hardware, and that would most certainly fit the bill.

I sure hope they got their act together with the ID protection and stuff. As long as I can play on the PSN, I'm fine.

Or, you could see it for what it is.

Bored people following a trend for lulz and reputation.

Actually i hope the hackers do hack and target PSN again to test Sony's new security system. Sony needs to get out their arrongance state and get to back reality.  According to japan , they are refusing to put psn back up because to them its incomplete. They said that what sony promise to implement in their security system wasn't put into place. If they prove japan right , it might after all be the end for sony as they will lose trust from alot of fans.

Can SONY IP track the location of this lulzsec person?

If so get the police to raid his house too! trolololol

Or, SONY could give his address to the consumers, he would be lynched within a few hours.

Or Better, SONY could give his address to 4chan

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2812098218

Now that's just a little too harsh, even for a hacker xD.
