Forums - Sony Discussion - L. A. Noire killed my ps3

T_T

It is with great grief that i announce the death of my humble companion , a 80 GB mgs4 Bundle BC PS3 after almost 3 years providing joy to me and my family. My PS3 die in the line of duty while I was playing L.A. Noire and was entering the final cut scene.

A LAST THREAD OF HOPE

Since my ps3 seems to have died from overheating, tomorrow i will perform an operation to cure the blinking red  light following this procedure. Why risk it you my ask , well , where i live the warranty is not valid and sending it to the US will cost me more than a new ps3.  I just hope all goes well.

DAMN YOU L.A. NOIRE.

No question about it, this is murder in the first degree

You should immediately call 911 and get some policemen over to apprehend that LA Noire disk! Then the game can see how some real interrogating is done

is rockstar doing anything to repay those who have been affected by this?

"I don't know what this Yamcha is, but it sounds just like Raditz."

My condolences the death of a console is always tragic. Especially when you know that it was murdered by a game. I too know this feeling. I recently lost a beloved 360 to a crap fest named Risen. I am not saying that lightly either. The game was ripe with glitches, shitty performance, and locked up my console twenty times. It really got me when it threw a huge tantrum trying to block my from finishing the last boss battle in the game. I couldn't help myself five minutes away from completion, and I wasn't going to be denied so I kept rebooting every time I locked up. When that red ring came up, and I still hadn't beaten the game I was shaking with frustration.

What can you do. I went right out that day, bought a new top of the line 360, and shoved that hellish game into the new system. Yeah it locked up the new system a couple times, but I was able to work through it all. Only to get rewarded by perhaps the shittiest video game ending I have ever seen. Oh well you just have to look at it as inevitable if you are a real hardcore gamer. You will eventually run your console into the ground. Yeah a shitty game doesn't help matters, but that comes with the territory.

Speaking to repairing the console. You probably know that it is only a stop gap measure. You are only going to get a little borrowed time. Maybe a few hours, a couple days, or maybe a couple weeks at most. You just might be able to finish the game that has left the console terminal. Good Luck.

I still got the old fat model...........SHOULD I BE SCARED TO PLAY L.A. NOIR???

I cant take out the disk ....  T_T
