The PC remakes also sound like a poor idea, the controls probably wouldn't work well and it is too much hassle

You do know that PC games can be played with a controller.

But how many PC gamers actually have a controller to plug into their PC, let alone how many people WANT to play a PC game with a controller.

I believe the switch is gonna happen, I'm just a bit sad cause the team had some different ideas to their gameplay and it's probably all gonna get thrown out the window for a Devil May Cry clone (Which isn't in itself a bad idea).  As far as MGS 5 on everything, that worries me, even throwing it on the NGP.  MGS 4 was 32 gigs for a reason and making a similar game fit on 2-4gig flash cards makes me severely worried about the game's content.

no its just kind of a fact that many series after they went multi suffered serious quality letdowns...

Examples? And look at Fab's post

Tekken,Devil May Cry, Tomb Raider...the GTAs on Xbox also only was ports...with MGS in mind i just think that Kojima maye would cut much things cause he makes very big games...you know how long the cutscenes are ^^

and in the end it wouldnt be a 100% Kojima game and it would be much greater if stayed exclusive without to cut anything and maybe even downgrading graphics in favor of the other consoles and stuff like that...

yupp...thats what i meant with staying exclusive is for some games better...

Wow! That's alot of drama. Switching developers midway through a game developement is going to really hurt the game.

Common HD version of Metal Gear Solid........pant pant pant :)

MGS5 on the NGP? What? I heard that MGS4 was somewhere around the ball park of 30 Gb. So how can MGS5 follow up with less? Not following on that one. Hmmm, well switching devs isn't going to be too much of a problem if the end justifies the means that is, I guess it should be fine. However, Metal Gear Solid, main story, is an IP that is deep-rooted in Playstation. The reactions/fallout, if this were to actually occur, would be huge, but I doubt it would happen.

Two words: SOUND COMPRESSION.

Kojima is a sound whore. He wanted uncompressed sound in every part of the game. If MGS4 was really 30 GB, it could be knocked down to about 15 easily. MGS5 that coluld fit on the NGP/3DS is possible/

Umm... MGS1 and MGS2 already are on PC so why would they need remakes? It definitely takes away some credibility from this.
