SoyQueSoy pointed out an article that reveals it's not all fun, but forced games for some Chinese prisoners. It is alleged that after a day of hard labor some inmates are forced to work through the night as gold farmers. "Prison bosses made more money forcing inmates to play games than they do forcing people to do manual labor," [prisoner] Liu told the Guardian. "There were 300 prisoners forced to play games. We worked 12-hour shifts in the camp. I heard them say they could earn 5,000-6,000rmb [£470-570] a day. We didn't see any of the money. The computers were never turned off."

You know, this is an awesome idea. We could adopt this and use the profit to pay for prison maintenance and stuff.

Every country should have their prisoners doing some sort of work like this, they did something wrong they shouldn't just get to do nothing and get sumwhere to live and food to eat.

eh, with the flooding along the mississippi parts of america forced inmats to fill sandbags.  this actually sounds better to me.

Well i dont care and they should be forced to work all prisoners should be. 

Really i dont know why they dont in western society allow businesses to use prisoners as slave labours to compete with the slave labourish workforce in countries like china. 

Because its very very sad that there are millions in prison who have an roof and are fed and cleaned and checked up for medical but there are millions of homeless and sick who get no food and have no roof. 

Its just wrong, very wrong. Its almost better to go to prison if you are homeless and staving.
