Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Ghost Recon: Future Soldier “better with Kinect,” boxart shows

not likely (to put it very very kindly)

it will likely be special mode like in the harry potter game.

i hope this game is Move compatible.

though that is good marketing for Kinect, imo much better than how Sony avertises Move compatible games

Not sure why you'd think that.  The Harry Potter game was released at the Kinect launch it was obvious that the additions were rushed.

Kinect is very capable of voice recognition, head tracking, body tracking and facial recognition which could all be used in addition to the controller movements to enhance the game experience.

Sounds pretty neat. I could see it working well with Ghost Recon.

Yey! I've been waiting for a Kinect FPS. Now we can see what Microsoft can really do. Mastering the development of a virtual reality FPS is a true sign of greatness! Just as Nintendo about their Wii *cough* Red Steel  *cough*

I just hope it's good!

some modding of Kinect would likely make it even better yet i am skeptical

yes, upon hearing more comments, it does seem they can implement features you speak of, which wont be half assed.

though, i dont think hand signals will be any easier or more practical than the controller, and most people will revert back to just using the controller rather than lifting up their hands.

also since Kinect is mandantory, its safe to bet any functions that you can do with Kinect, will be mapped to the regular controller, and again, i cant see anybody chosing, spoken and signalled commands over, button inputs. it will just be a lot more precise, less error prone, and a more relaxing experience with the controller

kinect support includes (but not limited to) taking apart your kinect and having yout tv wear it as a hat for glare reduction

Voice commands and hand signals would work very well to command your team.

It makes perfect sense. Its not like kinect has to be  used to control your main character, voice commands for squad members would be far more fluid than with a controller.

I'll keep an open mind, I've seen how well Move works with KZ3, so I'm willing to concede that Kinect could be used in some way to enhance the gameplay or even just the interface

this is going to be intense if it works , prolly see it working with kinect at e3

I'm surprised we don't see more games with Kinect features. It could actually help sales.

We see a lot of racing games and it seems that's the easiest genre to crowbar some Kinect features in. Oh well, more munnies for Forza 4 I guess.

Blatant false advertising not one game has been better because of kinect and dozens have been horrible
