Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 3DS may be the first instance where I actually pick Sony over Nintendo

It is pretty much confirmed that the headache thing was a myth. I am not sure how it started. The only way I can think of people getting headaches is if they have a neurological disorder or are Sony fans.

Anyway, if all you see are Zelda and Mario Kart, then you are ignoring a lot of games like Kid Icarus, Phoenix Wright vs Professor Layton, Super Mario 3DS, Assassin's Creed, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Cave Story 3D, etc...

Especially Kid Icarus, at the last E3 looked to be the real game for 3DS even more than Zelda...hopefully it's released by September!

Yeah, I find it funny how you list Zelda as "just a port" but then have a list of downgraded ports as the games on your list for the NGP. Honestly, I am not too impressed by NGP's graphics:

I don't agree with how do you know that sony will only make ps3 port and spinoffs do you know that sony annouced 5 new IP for NGP:gravity daze, little deviants, reality fighter, broken and smart as.

I'd be surprised if any of those become key games for the platform. I hope they do though, I want to see more original content from Sony.

Of course there will be new games that aren't ports/spinoffs, same with the PSP, it's just that these didn't really sell systems.

It all goes down to preferences depending which direction each handheld goes, plus both libraries need time to grow. From the information available right now I'd be inclined to buy a 3DS due to BC, AR and some DS games like Shadow Wars or Steel Driver. But the NGP also has intresting titles in Little deviants and Smart as, which uses the backpad and AR respectively... and then I don't like their other consolish games.

I'm also waiting for further information. This E3 will give more insight into where 3DS is heading, and how NGP will try win this handheld gen. We also have the new Nintendo console, that if rumours are true, could disrupt home handhelds.

I am loving the 3DS :)
I do agree on the game launch tho -- waiting for Zelda and Resident Evil(s)

OH SHIT SON! THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN OUT FOR 2 MONTHS! WHERE IS MY FUCKING LIBARY OF 5000 GAMES!?!?!?!?! FUCK THE 3DS! MY EYES ARE SORE AFTER 7 HOURS OF GAME PLAY IN 3D! THIS SHIT IS BROKEN! MY EYES ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE SORE EVER AFTER LONG ASS PLAY TIMES! AND WTF IS THIS BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY BULLSHIT WITH THE DS!?!?!?! LIKE I SAID, I WANT 5000 "3"DS GAMES IN 2 MONTHS YOU FUCKING NINTENDO! WHO THE FUCK CARES FOR 100% BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY WITH DS GAMES!?!?!?!? LOOK AT NGP WITH ALL THEIR BIG NAME GAMES NOT MADE BY THEIR CONSOLE GAME COMPANIES! THAT'S THE SHIT I WANT YO! I MEAN LOOK AT THIS SHIT: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=124197&page=1    !!!!!!!!!!! NGP IS OBVIOUSLY SUPERIOR IN EVERYWAY WHEN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT GAMES!

Personally, I am getting an NGP if any handheld at all because of the dual analog and the inevitable  multimedia functions (the latter to a lesser extent because I have an ipod). Lastly, why doesn't sony add the android market to the psp2 so that we can download android apps? That would be epic.
