Forums - General Discussion - Tomorrow is Rapture Day.

This story was mentioned a couple of months ago, but the day has finally come. Tomorrow is Rapture Day, according to some people this is the end of the world (lol).

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-state-of-nova/post/how-will-you-spend-your-last-day-before-the-world-ends/2011/05/19/AFkD0E7G_blog.html

So what do you guys think? How are you spending the "last day before the world ends"?

Bioshock is so good, they had to name a day in its honor.

i don't think people would really care who predicted what if such an event were to occur

People keep handing out pamphlets regarding Judgement Day in the Union Square train station in NYC. I wonder what they will do afterwards.

I imagine tomorrow will come and go like any other day.  Same with December 21st, 2012.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
