On one of the recent episodes of Bonus Round, Michael Pachter has emphasized just how good 3D is in Uncharted 3, and that he believes that 3D is a big differentiator for Sony this E3. Michael Pachter says:

"I just saw Uncharted in 3D...unbelievable."

Pachter continues:

"I was talking to the studio guys [Naughty Dog] , I said 'How do you make it look it like that? Because it's different from any other 3D game I've ever seen.' And he said, 'We designed the game, planning on 3D. We went for maximum definition every frame.'"

Shane Satterfield also chimed in to say that the 3D actually helps you play the game, rather than being a tacked on feature.

After playing Uncharted 2 I can say without a doubt that Uncharted 3 will be one of the best looking games out of this whole gen.

I will play that game with love in good old 2D :)
